One of the biggest things my clients struggle with is being able to “see” the finished project in their mind before a nail is ever driven. While I have been at these projects for years and can picture the final product in my mind’s eye, it’s not always as easy for the homeowner. Sometimes not being able to envision the final build is the difference between dreaming and doing.
Luckily, I can help with picturing the project!
One of the services I offer is 3D design mockups for your project. I can come to your site and get detailed measurements of your existing space or work from plans that you might still have from your builder. Once the base model of your existing site or space is in the computer, the real fun begins!
I’ll work with you to figure out what you want to accomplish with your home upgrade and then come up with a few concepts to help narrow the focus of your design. We can work through different variations as well so that we make sure you’re getting exactly what you expect. Usually I can even include things like your existing furniture or appliances in their real dimensions to give you an even better idea of how the design will work for you.
One added bonus of this service is that the plans we create together can then be used for gaining the permits needed for construction.
No project is too big or too small to be worked up in 3D. Over the years I have created renderings for everything from custom closet organization to basement layouts for full finishing jobs, usually with several revisions along the way.
